Who Am I?
Hey guys, how's it going? I'm Jacqueline, the Unimportant Homemaker!
Brandon & I have been married for 19 years and we are blessed to have our daughter Haley.
We are born-again believers by faith in Jesus Christ and trust in His finished work on the cross for salvation from sin. We are a home-school and home-church family living an old-fashioned, traditional lifestyle.
We live in deep south Mississippi where we enjoy gardening at our little cabin we built by hand in 7 days!
Our history
Unimportant Homemaker got its name from our personal philosophy of understanding that almost everything is unimportant.
Meaning, when we evaluate our life, we consider Christ as important and everything else as not so important.
Sounds strange, we know!
Our faith in Christ has shaped our every thought and action so much so that all other things, apart from Him, are held loosely by us. The only thing we truly possess is Him.
So while I am a pilgrim here, I serve in my home as the homemaker!
